In peak, the engine is indeed a little less powerful but it remains torquey and we have simply lost the moments when the bike is going to “embark” us in a technical section, and it is perhaps not so bad. The pick-ups after stopping pedaling are controlled, still muscular, but a little more progressive and there is no “hole” in the assistance. In “EMTB” mode, there is “extended boost” which prolongs the thrust by a few tenths of a second, which is very pleasant for overcoming obstacles.
