The Dense Vegetation And Thorny Bushes Of Tsavo west Made Aerial Support Crucial. SWT Pilot Hamish Flew The Helicopter, Allowing KWS Veterinarian Dr. Lawi To Dart The Giraffe From Above.

Approximately Eight Minutes After Being Darted, The Giraffe Showed Clear Signs Of The Anesthetic Taking effect. Roan And Kemboi Moved In Quickly, Managing To Get Ropes Around The Disoriented Animal.
