Manama: A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of 14-year-old Shahad al-Gallaf, a local girl from Issa Town, the Southern Governorate Police Directorate said. A 31-year-old native was arrested. Police said he was involved in hiding the girl. Steps are being taken to hand over the case to the public prosecution.
The girl, who has been missing since Friday, was found Tuesday morning. The ministry said in a tweet that it was taking the necessary legal and health measures to ensure the child’s safety.
The boy went missing at around 6 pm on Friday. Intensive efforts were being made under the leadership of the Home Ministry to locate the child. A comprehensive investigation into the incident is in progress.
