A freak accident ended with a nine year old girl hospitalized for a week with a scissors stuck in his head in General Santos, a city located in the southern Philippines.
It’s regarding the little Nicole Raga, who while arguing with his five-year-old brother over a pencil, was hit by him with a backpack. Without noticing, the bag had the pointed tool inside and ended up embedded in the minor’s skull.

After a week of waiting, the girl was able to undergo the operation to remove the scissors thanks to a collection that was made in her community. Despite the complexity of the accident, the minor did not end up with sequelae in her brain.
“I am grateful for everyone who provided their help. We’re just poor, so I didn’t know where to get the money for the surgery. I am so lucky to have everyone who gave money and prayed for Nicole,” the girl’s father said.
