The facts occurred Tuesday morning around 10 am. A four-month-old child was seriously abused in front of his mother and the public in an annex town hall in Cenon, in La Morlette in the suburbs of Bordeaux (Gironde).
According to information from regional media, confirmed to Le Parisien, the mother and her little one were in town hall for administrative procedures. The father of the child, whom she would have left before the birth, then appeared and attacked the baby with the help of a rope.
The saving intervention of witnesses
The father, a 34-year-old Algerian, unknown to the police, tied the rope around the child’s neck and pulled him violently by the foot.
