Olivier Giroud overtook Thierry Henry to become France’s all-time top scorer by scoring a goal in the match against Poland.
Olivier Giroud scored France’s first goal in a 3-1 win over Poland to qualify for the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals.
This is Giroud’s goal No. 52 in the French national team shirt, becoming its historic scorer, overtaking legend Thierry Henry.
Giroud was equal to Henry by scoring two goals in the match against Australia in the group stage.
It is reported that France will play in the quarter-finals against England, who beat Senegal 3-0.
