Lua, Gisele Bundchen’s dog, has died.
The 43-year-old model, who was married to Tom Brady from 2009 to 2022, took to social media over the weekend to announce the death of the pit bull she and her ex-husband adopted when they were married.
She wrote on Instagram: “Our little Lulu, our guardian angel, has gone to heaven. She will live forever in our hearts. We already miss her so much!”
Tom was quick to share his own tribute by putting a solo photo of the dog on his own Instagram account.
He captioned the post: “We love you Lua, RIP. Forever in our hearts.”
Earlier this year, Gisele spent $9.1 million to buy a ranch in South Florida so her youngest daughter could pursue her passion for horseback riding away from the spotlight.
She told People: “I took him horseback riding there, and every time I took him, it became the focus of the paparazzi. I was like, ‘I can’t live like this. I want to have fun with my daughter. This should be a fun activity that we do together. So I thought that this way I can allow her to practice what she loves.”
