New coach, clear message: A different wind will blow in the Gladbach cabin from June 26, 2022. Then it’s the start of training for the pros. And coach Daniel Farke (45) has already announced the first new group rules. The so-called “French Connection” in Borussia-Park shouldn’t like this at all.

Farke, who coached English club Norwich City from 2017 to 2021, continues: “(…) I think it’s important to commit to a club. I did it that way in England too. We had a lot of German players when I started at Norwich, but not a word of German was allowed in the dressing room. And of course we have adapted.”
Means: The only official language in the Gladbach cabin is now German. Plea, Thuram, Bensebaini and Co will have to get used to that under Farke.
