For the operator, this represents a fairer partnership, since the Globo channels already have enough visibility by being part of Claro’s line-up.

Claro’s president, José Felix, said that these changes “will start to hurt a little more for some content providers”.

According to Felix, cable TV is in decline, losing approximately 2 million subscribers in this year.
