Gmunden gambled away and lost the lead in the table

The Swans from Gmunden lost on Thursday evening in the placement round (6th round) of the basketball league once morest Oberwart Gunners with 81:84 (55:48). As a result, Gmunden has to hand over the lead to BC Vienna, who won 94:84 at Wels the day before.

For the Swans it looks like a victory for a long time, in the meantime the lead is 13 points. After the long-term lead up to 81:81, the Burgenland from Oberwart snatched the match from the Upper Austrians in the finish to 84:81 (48:55) success.

Vienna now leads the table with 30 points ahead of Gmunden (28) and Oberwart (19). In the qualifying round, UBSC Graz takes the lead following a tight 69:68 once morest the Vienna Timberwolves.
