GNB official took his own life in Amazonas

The military personnel shot up inside his room in Detachment 631 of the 63 Zone Command.

An official of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) took his own life by shooting himself in the head, in the early hours of this Saturday, May 28, in the state of Amazonas.

The military personnel was identified as First Lieutenant Grimaldo Antonio Parras Colmenares.

Presumably, the military officer performed functions as head of the Weapons Park of Detachment 631 of Zone Command No. 63.

Unofficially it was learned that Grimaldo fired a firearm at the height of the right temple, in his room at said headquarters.

The man was transferred to the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández hospital, where he was admitted without vital signs.
