Sony Interactive Entertainment Korea (SIEK) announced that the PC version of ‘God of War’ will be released on January 15, 2022. ‘God of War’ for PlayStation 4, released on April 20, 2018, sold about 19.5 million copies as of August 2021. Pre-orders for the PC version of ‘God of War’ are available on Steam and the Epic Game Store.
The PC version of ‘God of War’ supports true 4k resolution (requires 4K TV or 4K display) and unlimited frame rate options. Players can enjoy Kratos and Atreus’s journey as they explore various realms from a smooth camera perspective.
The PC version includes various graphic presets and setting functions, so you can fine-tune the visual experience according to the device environment. From improved shadow resolution and screen space reflection to the ambient occlusion pipeline using GTAO and SSDO, the PC version ‘God of War’ shows impressive visual quality that suits the platform.
NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Supersampling (DLSS) supported by RTX is fully integrated, and NVIDIA Reflex’s low-latency technology is also utilized. Reflex provides a responsive experience, allowing you to react faster and make powerful combos. It also supports 21:9 ultra widescreen and various console controllers.
The God of War PC version includes a high level of controller support and keyboard mapping customization. It will support various gamepads, including the DualShock 4 wireless controller and DualSense wireless controller, and support the creation of optimal controller setups through the customization function for keyboard and mouse users.
