Going Green: E.Leclerc’s Bold Move to Ditch Paper Catalogs Sparks Environmental Revolution

2023-08-27 22:05:48

In a film designed by BETC, E.Leclerc reaffirms its decision to end the distribution of its paper catalogs in mailboxes from September 1, 2023.
To explain its choice, the brand recalls that each year in France, 14 billion printed catalogs are distributed, ie more than 700,000 tons of paper.
“All this so that almost half of them end up in the trash without even being read. In fact, 44% of French people say they even throw away the catalogs they receive without consulting them”, specifies the group.

Broadcast on TV, VOL and in cinemas

The film stages countless catalogs falling on the landscapes and cities of France.
The campaign has been broadcast on TV, VOL and in cinemas since August 21. It is enriched with a social media component which shows in an offbeat way the interest of this change in favor of the environment.
