Zakopane – The summer ski jumping premiere at the European Games might hardly have started better for Austria’s team. Jacqueline Seifriedsberger won the gold medal on Tuesday in Zakopane on the normal hill following jumps of 99 and 98.5 meters with 262.6 points, just ahead of Slovenia’s Nika Prevc (262.3). The two athletes were only separated by 0.5 points following the first round. Sara Marita Kramer secured bronze (242.6).
