gold in the global stock exchange

The Fed’s adherence to monetary tightening and raising interest rates twice during the second half of the year caused gold prices to weaken significantly during the recent period, breaking the trading area that maintained its sideways movements for more than a month.

However, gold did not begin to decline sharply and openly since its exit from this region, but rather settled below it and began to fluctuate and occasional movements, and the credit for that is due to the geopolitical tensions that increased earlier this week after the military coup in Russia.

Although the crisis ended quickly, gold has benefited greatly by maintaining its current levels and stopping its decline, especially since this coincided with the weakness of the US dollar.

While expectations remain positive for gold in the medium term, in light of the expectation that the US and global economies will enter a recession by the end of this year, in light of the continuous interest-raising operations since last year by global central banks that have not ended until now.

It is worth noting that the economic recession and global crises are the best incentives for the rise in gold prices, which is considered a safe haven in the markets during these periods.
