According to the ICP, students who have obtained high marks from government higher secondary schools in the UAE and those who have obtained 95 percent marks from private schools will receive a five-year resident visa. clarified. Those continuing their studies in the UAE will be granted a visa extension if they wish to continue their studies for the next five years.
According to the new law, parents can sponsor the sons of workers in the UAE up to the age of 25. It can be renewed for one year after the age of 25 on production of proof of admission in a higher educational institution. Meanwhile, girls can get a student visa irrespective of their age for the duration of their studies.
University students can bring their families to the UAE if they have the financial means and adequate accommodation. The government has clarified.
