Gómez Palacio high school students participate in a fight; educational authorities are already investigating
Students from Gómez Palacio Technical Secondary School No. 75 participated in a fight in the streets of the Los Álamos subdivision, in the same municipality.
A video circulates on social networks where the young women begin to physically attack each other until they end up in the middle of the street, despite the fact that there are other students around; only who is behind the cell phone is the one who asks them to stop them.
After several minutes, some of the classmates manage to separate them, however, they fight again and that is where the video ends.
Ulises Adame, Undersecretary of Education in La Laguna de Durango, confirmed that they are two students from said secondary school, one of them in first grade; while the incident occurred last Thursday, March 16, near a primary school.
One of the minors has already been identified, and the girl’s mother was summoned for a meeting next Tuesday, while they continue to verify the data of the second student.
Previously, the Secretary of Education in the state, Guillermo Adame Calderon, indicated that the latest acts of violence that occur in the country and in the region are the cause of a change in society, for which reason he requested the support of the parents of family, “The phenomenon of violence, having weapons within reach at home, having drugs and social networks, put the educational system in a great area of opportunity to continue activating the protocols… what we must reflect on are the new social behaviors of the students and the parents themselves.
