GoMoWorld disrupts internet access around the world

GoMoWorld.

Telecom troublemaker Xavier Niel has struck again. This time, his NJJ group is launching GoMoWorld, not to be confused with Salt’s low-cost GoMo operator. This mobile application allows travelers from all over the world to simply connect to the Internet in more than 160 countries, without a SIM card or contract, from 3.99 euros!

Like Ubigi, GoMoWorld uses the potential of eSIM, that is to say a virtual SIM card on compatible devices, such as the flagships of Apple, Samsung and Oppo, in particular. The commissioning is almost instantaneous as we were able to test it on Friday afternoon.

Switzerland in Europe

This mobile application, available on iOS and Android, allows you to choose the most suitable offer from a range of internet plans. For all of Europe, including Switzerland, you can buy 2 GB of data for 3.99 euros for 7 days and 25 GB for 19.99 euros for 20 days, something to put some national operators to shame.

Moreover, it is interesting to note that the Europe package includes roaming for Switzerland. In other words, even on a discount offer of this type, the wholesale rates offered for Switzerland allow it to compete with countries where the costs are much lower, which once again gives food for thought!

Internet with 5G

While some Swiss operators still have the audacity to offer tariff plans without 5G, this application provides access to local 4G and 5G networks in more than 160 countries. Thanks to agreements with the best mobile networks in the world, GoMoWorld is available from Australia to Thailand, passing through Morocco or all of Europe, according to a press release.

My comment? Before the next vacation, consider carefully studying your mobile subscription. And if it doesn’t contain data for surfing upstairs, consider using offers like those from GoMoWorld or Ubigi. Obviously, there is still room to lower certain prices practiced in Switzerland, which remain stratospheric…
