Gong Myung, Honey Lee♥… Comeback with ‘Killing Romance’

[뉴스컬처 노규민 기자] Gong Myung, an actor with a status as a soldier, returns with the movie ‘Killing Romance’.

‘Killing Romance’ is about a top star ‘Yeo-rae’ (Lee Ha-nui) who fell in destined love with island conglomerate ‘Jonathan’ (Lee Sun-kyun) and suddenly announced his retirement, meets ‘Bum-woo’ (Gong Myung), a student from the 3rd fan club, and sets up an extraordinary comeback strategy. A story to conspire with.

Gong Myung’s visual, which exudes the youngest beauty, is a hot topic, not inferior to Lee Ha-nui and Lee Sun-kyun’s force. Gong Myung, who has been loved as a handsome actor, is currently in the military. After meeting the audience last summer with ‘Hansan: The Rise of the Dragon’, he will make a comeback this spring with ‘Killing Romance’.

Gong Myung, who is building trust with the audience by actively presenting works without military background, took on the role of Bum Woo in ‘Killing Romance’. In the released stills, the innocence that only Gong Myung has is buried, and at the same time, you can feel 100% pure love for your favorite actor.

Beom-woo is an undergraduate who prepares for the entrance exam in solitude because of his family tradition that insists on going to S University. His dull daily life changes when his favorite actor, Yeorae (Lee Ha-nui), moves in next door to her. In fact, Beomwoo was actively involved in the 3rd fan club of ‘Yeorai Wish’ during the early days of Yeorae’s debut. In this way, Yeorae is encouraged by her sincere fanship of Bum-woo to the extent that she knows all of her own works, and has the goal of making a comeback on the screen.

Director Lee Won-seok revealed the moment he fell in love with him, “I met Gong Myung for the first time at a movie premiere. His bright smile has not left my mind for several days. It really suits the character of Beom-woo, so I cast him without hesitation.”

‘Killing Romance’ is a fresh, never-before-seen film with a variety of space-time fantasy, fresh and novel script, and directing. Director Lee Won-seok of ‘Men’s Manual’ and writer Park Jung-ye of ‘Beauty Inside’ joined hands. Released on April 14th.
