The MTE250S from Transcend is a high-end SSD that promises reading speeds of up to 7200 MB/s and 6200 MB/s writing speeds. Unlike its MTE250H cousin that we tested, it does not have a heat sink.
The MTE250S 1TB is the M.2 SSD of choice for those who want fast and efficient storage. Its speeds are excellent in reading and writing. Please note, you will need to use a heat sink to take advantage of this, otherwise the heating will limit its performance. If necessary, we can turn to the MTE250H which, although otherwise identical, houses a heatsink.
Points forts
