Good news from Abyad for dialysis patients

Caretaker Health Minister Firas Abyad pointed out that, “We have enough medical supplies until after the end of August, and I assure dialysis patients that the supplies are available and there is no interruption.”

In an interview with “Voice of the People” via LBC, he said: “Two companies importing dialysis supplies were referred to investigation because they sold the supplies with fresh food while they were subsidized.”

He stressed that, “there are heart valves, and they are available, and they have arrived in Lebanon.”

Abyad said, “We cannot allow companies to enter medicines and supplies without inspection into the chaos we are living in.”

He revealed, “We are working on an application that helps the citizen to know through the barcode the price of the drug and the names of the generic and possible alternatives to it, and we will launch it soon.”
