It doesn’t always have to be a smartphone for 1000 euros or even more. Google has been impressively demonstrating this fact with its Pixel a series for several years. With relatively manageable compromises compared to current top devices, the Pixel 7a is still one of the best mid-range smartphones at the current street price of around 370 euros, even a year after its presentation. Now Google is introducing its successor, the Pixel 8a, and it brings some very relevant improvements.
