GoPro Volta

For small action cameras, battery life is generally not the strong point of this type of product. In order to meet the needs of users to shoot for a long time, GoPro recently Hero10 Black and Hero9 Black launched a Time Battery Grip. With the help of the Volta’s built-in 4,900mAh battery, the camera’s shooting time can be “extra times longer”. Taking Hero10 as an example, the official said that the total time for 5.3K 30fps video recording after loading Volta can reach 4 hours.

In addition to providing more power, the Volta can also be hand-held or deployed as a tripod support. The grip also features physical buttons for one-handed operation and wireless control within a 30-meter range. It also has a weatherproof design, and a status light that shows battery life and shooting modes. There is no need to worry about the installation compatibility of GoPro series accessories, and it can also charge devices such as mobile phones through USB-C.

The Volta retails for US$130, or $91 if you’re a GoPro member. At the same time, the official also launched a new HERO10 Black Creator Edition creator package containing Volta grip, Media Mod and Light Mod. Its retail price and membership price are US$760 and US$532 respectively.
