What a relief! After all the release delays, there are still a few big multiplatform titles that will be released in 2022. Gotham Knights is more than two months away from release, but as Warner Bros Games Montreal said: Gotham Knights ist Gold! And this status can no longer be taken away.
What does gold status mean? Gotham Knights is off to the pressing plant, that is physical copies of the game are made.
What does that mean for us now? Well, development is basically complete, but a “day-one patch” seems to be a given.
Gotham Knights (with Gold status): A story without Batman
Actually, following the Arkham games, you can’t even imagine a Gotham without Batman. Now the other Dark Knights are stepping into the limelight: Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl and Robin. Batman is apparently dead. But Gotham is not safe, because the mysterious Cout of Owls wants to seize the opportunity with his villains.

Though Gotham Knights was originally scheduled for release in 2021, the open-world co-op action role-playing game has been pushed back to 2022. It launches on October 25, 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. No longer for Xbox One and PS4 – the two versions have already been cancelled.
