Moscow. July 7th INTERFAX.RU – The centre-right coalition in power in the Netherlands collapsed on Friday following failing to agree on a reform of the right to asylum in the country, informs agency EFE.

The coalition led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte has been actively discussing in recent weeks how to reduce the flow of refugees and their relatives arriving in the Netherlands. One of the parties eventually disagreed with a number of Rutte’s proposals, which provoked a government crisis.

EFE notes that it is not yet clear how events will develop further. Rutte might try to form a minority government. If this does not happen, then the country will face early parliamentary elections.
