Government delivers 50 homes to families in the department of Itapúa

Asunción, IP Agency.- Fifty families from Encarnación, department of Itapúa, received the keys to their new homes built by the Government, through the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat (MUVH).

With this latest delivery, a total of 2,544 homes have been delivered, of the 17,082 homes that are managed throughout the national territory.

The keys were delivered this Sunday by the head of the MUVH, Juan Carlos Baruja, to families that make up the Commission of Affected and Derived Persons of the Yacyretá Binational Entity. The delivery ceremony was attended by municipal, departmental and EBY authorities.

The 50 houses were built through the National Fund for Social Housing (Fonavis) program of the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat, with an investment of G. 4,732,358,263

Minister Baruja expressed that the delivery of the homes represents a new beginning for 50 Paraguayan families and that the commitment with President Santiago Peña is to build homes for all families that have no possibilities.

This investment generated benefits in the area, promoting the movement of the economy and the creation of employment opportunities for the residents.
