He recalled that on April 24, Governor Gerardo Morales together with the rectors of the National University of Jujuy, Mario Bonillo and the National University of Tucumán, Sergio José Pagani signed a framework academic-scientific agreement to face the process that concludes with the creation of the Medicine career in Jujuy.
In that same act, it was agreed to form a working commission made up of the UNJu “in charge of the academic and pedagogical part” and the Agency for the Implementation of the Medical Career in Jujuy with the task of surveying and providing “what regarding infrastructure and equipment”, in order to “achieve a coherent project to be analyzed and approved by CONEAU”, said Buljubasich.
The former head of the provincial health portfolio highlighted “the great expectations that have been created in relation to the issue”, but clarified that “the process started is usually quite long” and that “there are many provinces that aspire to have medical schools and we are in the race”.
“We hope to continue working well and have the political accompaniment of the nation so that next year we can achieve the start of the race,” he concluded.
