As president of CORESEC, the regional governor of Loreto, Dr. René Chávez Silvano, led the II Ordinary Session of the Loreto Regional Committee for Citizen Security – CORESEC 2023.
The members of the committee reported on the strategies they are carrying out in favor of citizen security, the same ones that are reflected in the results that are being obtained thanks to the articulated work with all those involved.
The regional authority mentioned that several points have been discussed in this meeting, but above all it announced that support will be given to the police; One of the conclusions is to install a technical work table with the aim of improving citizen security. “Crime is really being controlled because it is coordinating with the Police, the Prosecutor’s Office and the Judiciary. Likewise, timely work is being done to set up a criminal flagrante delicto unit, which will expedite the trial processes so that detainees are tried in a maximum of three days, as well as implement a monitoring center with surveillance cameras,” he said. the regional governor.
