Grabher, Kraus in tennis world rankings better than ever

Julia Grabher (26) from Vorarlberg and Sinja Kraus (20) from Vienna have achieved personal bests in the world tennis rankings. Thanks to her entry into the round of 16 in Charleston, Grabher improved by eleven places and appears in 78th place. For the first time in eight and a half years (Yvonne Meusburger in October 2014) there is once more an ÖTV player in the top 80 of the WTA ranking. Thanks to the Bogota round of 16, Kraus made up 15 places and is in 153rd place.

Dominic Thiem approached the top 100 once more thanks to the quarterfinals in Estoril. The former world number three moved up five spots and is ranked 106th. With Jurij Rodionov (119), Sebastian Ofner (120), Filip Misolic (143) and Dennis Novak (149), a total of five ÖTV professionals appear in the top 150.
