Grains in Ukraine: Putin signals progress and thanks Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke on Tuesday July 19 of the progress in the negotiations for the export of cereals from Ukraine via the Black Sea and thanked his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a meeting in Tehran.

“Thanks to your mediation, we have moved forward. All the questions are not settled yet, it is true, but there is movement and it is a good thing”, declared Mr. Putin, according to remarks transcribed in a press release from the Kremlin.
