Germany: Malayalee Community Stuttgart (MCS), the largest association of Malayalees in Stuttgart, Germany, organized Onaghosha. More than 350 people participated in the brilliant Onam celebration called Ponnona Pulari 2023. Ratheesh Panampilly welcomed everyone to the Onam celebrations which started at 10 am on Sunday morning at Ost Fielden Hall, Eslingen. Manu, Subin and Sarath shared their greetings.
In the performance that started with the children’s fashion show, Anoop came in the guise of Maveli and the hall became festive. Thiruvathira, classical dances and Onapats were added to the ceremony and the song mela prepared by the Stuttgart musical team was a heartwarming experience for everyone. A sumptuous feast consisting of 12 sets of curries became the main attraction of the Onam celebrations. Faisal Rafi expressed his gratitude to those who organized art programs and laid flowers during the Onam celebrations. The organizers said that next time, Onam will be celebrated more widely with more people participating.
