Grandpa-aged Mike Tyson returns to the ring and his opponent knocks him unconscious

Mike Tyson retired from professional boxing in 2005 with 50 wins and 6 losses. Since then, he has entered the ring in only two exhibition matches, the latest in 2020, against Roy Jones Jr. The third time is July 20 against Jake Paul at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

There is a thirty-year age difference between Tyson and Jake Paul, the former world heavyweight champion, currently still 57, but turning 58 at the time of the match. The latter is only 27 years old, and he decided to replace vlogging with wrestling in 2020, the year of the boxing legend’s last match. So far, Paul has entered the ring in ten stakes matches and won nine times. Okay, he mostly fought cage fighters instead of boxers, but he beat the elite of the UFC field like Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. His only defeat so far was against Tommy Fury, the half-brother of current world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, last February.

– Jake Paul has grown spectacularly as a boxer in recent years, so it will be fun to see how the will and ambition of a kid go against the experience and talent of the greatest of all time – he stated “modestly” Mike Tyson.

For self-confidence, Jake Paul doesn’t have to go next door either, he said: “It’s time to put Mike to sleep,” he indicated that he would knock the heavy boy unconscious in the ring.

Everything will be revealed on July 20, Netflix has already announced that it will broadcast the match live.
