Angamaly: Vishwajyoti School achieves great success in District Senior Swimming Championship. Overall runner-up, the school bagged a total of 37 medals. 15 students participated representing the school. They won 18 gold, 12 silver and seven bronze medals. In the girls’ category, Karon Benni, who competed in five events, bagged four golds and one silver to emerge as the individual champion. Joseph V. competed in five events in the boys’ category. Joseph won three gold, one silver and one bronze to become the individual champion. Vishwajyoti team became champions by scoring 181 points in girls category. Overall runner-up with 263 points. Joseph, Russell, Karon, Iris, Nicole, Tia, Gayatri and Pavitra qualified to compete in the state swimming meet at Thiruvananthapuram. Manager Fr. Augustine Mampilly, Principal Fr.
