Greek Chamber of Commerce: Konstantinos Kollias as president for the 4th time – Koutroumanis and Moiralis in the administration – Economy: Economic News and News – 2024-02-28 09:26:00

For the fourth consecutive term, the new central administration of the Economic Chamber of Greece, as emerged from the recent elections, elected Konstantinos Kollias, president of the chamber.

This was made known by an announcement from the chamber after today’s meeting of the new central administration, while it is noted that “by a wide majority, the 10-year-old president of the OEE received a new mandate to continue representing the 130,000 economists of the country’s largest scientific body”.

The composition of the new board is as follows:

President: Konstantinos Kollias

First vice-president: Avraam Panidis

Second vice-president: Stavros Traganis

Secretary General: Konstantinos Papadimitriou

Financial supervisor: Konstantinos Manousos

Members: Pelopidas Kalliris, Iordanis Hatzikonstantinou, Georgios Koutroumanis, Theodoros Kounadeas, Michalis Kupkas, Yannis Dionysopoulos, Nikolaos Moiralis, Michalis Nikiforos, Emilios Dayiannis, Panagiotis Alevizakis.

Both Achaeans Giorgos Koutroumanis and Nikos Moiralis are on the governing committee.

Mr. Kollias said: “The new, fourth in a row, mandate that I received from the Central Administration of the Greek Chamber of Commerce, is a continuation of the vote of confidence, with which the members of the OEE honored DIKIO, in the recent elections of December 2023 .

My election is a reward for the work that our scientific body has demonstrated over the last decade and more.

At the same time, it is a great honor for me personally, as it is accompanied, not only by an increase in the percentage received by the DIKIO faction in the December elections, but also by the largest percentage received by the faction in the OEE elections.

And the huge increase in participation (over 30%) in the electoral process fills us with an even greater sense of responsibility for the course of the body in the future.

The bar is now higher than ever.

And, as in my previous three terms, in this one as well, I am committed to continue working hard to further upgrade our body, faithfully serving the OEE and the interests of our members.

And in this effort, there are no colors and no factions.

I invite everyone to work together to continue to defend the rights of economists and tax accountants in the next four years.

The constant challenges of our time require vigilance, in order to respond to the demands of the new economic climate, to redesign our priorities, to strengthen the role of our agency and to set new goals.

I sincerely thank all the economists for the trust they show in me.

With solid foundations and accumulated experience, we continue the work so that our organization maintains the momentum it has demonstrated in recent years.”

It is recalled that he was elected, for the first time, president of the Economic Chamber of Greece in February 2014 and today he renewed for the fourth time his term as the president of the OEE.
