Flachau – Representatives of the World Ski Federation FIS checked the snow in Flachau and gave the organizers the go-ahead for the night slalom on March 9, 2022. In a week the penultimate winter will take place in a crazy slalom season before the final in Courchevel/Méribel. Let’s look at our chronicle and try to find out who won the last slalom on the route named after Hermann Maier.
It was actually two slaloms in Salzburger Land; both times Flachau stepped in for canceled races in Wengen and Kitzbühel. So once won Manuel Feller from Austria Clement Christmas from France and his compatriot Marco Schwarz. At the second race had Sebastian Foss-Solevågthe later Norwegian World Champion ahead of Schwarz and Alexis Pinturault by a nose in front of the Equipe Tricolore. The first round of this year’s night slalom starts at 5.45 p.m. The final will take place three hours later. Excitement is guaranteed.
