Before the release of his next album Nostalgia, we take stock of the best punchlines of the melancholic Belgian Green Montana.
Originally from Verviers in Belgium, Green Montana took his first steps in music by covering the tracks of Booba and the Mafia K’1 Fry. He wrote his first texts in 2015, drawing inspiration from American artists such as Drake, Migos and Young Thug, and laid the foundations of his musical DNA: a dark and melodious trap, marked by a flow that is both powerful and carefree. After Bleu Nuit and Orange Métallique, his first two melancholy and colorful projects published in 2018, he was spotted by Isha, then signed on Booba’s 92i label. From there, he flies to the highest peaks with a daring first album, Alaska. Next will come in 2021, the ethereal, poignant and hypnotizing EP MELANCHOLIA 999, from which come two of these strongest tracks of the moment: “FUM22 NOCIVE” and “Évidemment”, his last duet with SDM.
Green Montana may now be fully part of the French rap landscape, he knows that success and success in esteem do not stop the spleen. For this reason, the Belgian artist intends to continue his ascent in 2022. His musical journey resumes now with the single “Waldorf Astoria”, a first hovering speech before the arrival of his new album Nostalgia, scheduled for the end of March. .
