Michael Gregoritsch recorded his fifth assist this season in the German Bundesliga on Sunday. In the away game of the 29th round, the Styrian prepared the only goal in SC Freiburg’s 1-0 win at bottom team SV Darmstadt with a pass from Ritsu Doan (36th). The ÖFB team striker now has eleven scorer points, as he already has six goals to his name. Freiburg is in eighth place in the table.
The Darmstadt team, who have now gone 22 games without a win, have had no sense of success despite scoring chances and are slowly having to get used to moving to the second division. With five rounds to go, the bottom of the table, who suffered a defeat for the fifth time in the last six games, are twelve points off the relegation spot and 13 points off the first non-relegation spot.
Christoph Klarer played through in central defense, Emir Karic was replaced in the 81st minute and Mathias Honsak was in action from the 68th minute.
