Lisa Grill also won the second European Cup downhill on the Passo San Pellegrino on Thursday. The 23-year-old from Salzburg prevailed with a lead of 0.07 seconds over her compatriot Emily Schöpf. Behind Sara Thaler (ITA), Magdalena Egger took fourth place. Grill, who is the overall leader following three wins this season, had already won the first downhill ahead of Schöpf the day before.
At the European Cup RTL in Valloire (FRA), Tyrolean Christian Borgnaes, who competed for Denmark, won, while Joshua Sturm came third.
