Growth in France reaches 7% in 2021

More 7% growth: INSEE published this Friday morning its first estimate of the very vigorous rebound of the French economy in 2021, following the record recession recorded in 2020 due to the health crisis.

This figure confirms that the French economy has returned to its level of activity before the epidemic at the end of 2021.

In 2020, the gross domestic product (GDP) had plunged by 8%, unseen since the Second World War.
