According to Netflix, the timed-exclusive event gives subscribers the first official look at Rockstar Games’ upcoming blockbuster ahead of its wider release on YouTube six hours later.

The timed-exclusive broadcast marks a first-of-its-kind partnership between Rockstar Games and Netflix, bringing the heavily anticipated title to the streaming service’s global subscriber base. Brandon Riegg, VP of Nonfiction Series at Netflix, noted in official statements that the collaboration reflects the platform’s ambition to host major entertainment moments. According to IGN coverage, the footage runs for 27 minutes and highlights in-game footage on PlayStation 5.

For those unwilling to pay for a Netflix subscription, the video will transition to public platforms six hours after the initial broadcast, dropping on YouTube. Subscribers outside English-speaking regions can access the broadcast with subtitles available in fourteen languages, ranging from Brazilian Portuguese to Simplified Chinese.
