The latter was founded by Leslie Benzies, who also co-founded the creators of GTA, Rockstar Games. In the meantime, however, he left Rockstar and devoted himself to his own project. With this studio, Benzies would intend to attack GTA 6 directly, because Everywhere should fulfill all the wishes and needs of GTA fans.

According to the latest information, Leslie Benzies and his studio Build A Rocket Boy will be present at the video game fair. The show will take place from August 24 to 28, 2022.

Serious competition for GTA 6: Everywhere could well become a serious competitor for GTA 6. After all, the paths of Benzies and Rockstar did not part on good terms. After the departure of its founder, the latter sued the New York developer and claimed the modest sum of 150 million dollars in damages. In 2019, however, the two parties were able to agree on a confidential agreement. With Everywhere, Benzies is in any case planning a “ unlimited open world with co-op features« .
