GTA 6 leaks are not important and not worth worrying about

So, leaks Real Grand Theft Auto 6. It seems that a hacker has broken into the Rockstar Games internal network to download information about the upcoming GTA, which will most likely be called Grand Theft Auto 6. As expected, many players are angry about it.

My reaction was nothing more than a simple sigh of indifference, because many of the reasons the fans were angry are not really convincing. Let me explain, after clarifying a few things.

Illustration 1: I’m not a big fan right now

I know Red Dead Redemption 2 was amazing, but it simply didn’t impress me.

Well, let me confess. I didn’t love Grand Theft Auto V very much after a certain point and Red Dead Redemption 2 It wasn’t an experience that excited me either. Both games are not bad; I appreciate the sheer amount of skill and mastery of the developers and the amount of work that goes into here. They are two captivating experiences for so many players, but I didn’t enjoy them as much as I should.

Illustration 2: A hacker is definitely a criminal

Even if you thought the leak was great, whoever did it is not a hero. Most leaks come from gray situations, such as information being accidentally exposed or leaked by a company employee. This is not the case here, the leaker hacked a network and stole the information, and any opinion you might have about this being morally acceptable is incorrect when you know that he is demanding a ransom for the theft. The matter is not only to extract details about the game, but it is the theft of data stemming from a financial desire.

Rockstar Games messageRockstar Games is the victim here, more than ever before from any other company that has been exposed to leaks.

If the leak really does contain a full early version of the game, it’s more serious than just releasing some gameplay scenes or images. The release of the unfinished game to the public during its development process is more than a leak and is classified as an actual piracy process, especially with the leaker asking for a ransom of data.

Now that these two points are clear, here’s why leaks are not important in and of themselves.

Of course Rockstar is working on GTA 6

Rockstar Games messageStealing and pretending to be mysterious was ridiculous. Just tell us that GTA 6 exists.

The existence of the game itself is not magic shown. Of course Rockstar is working on launching it. Grand Theft Auto V came nine years ago for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and brought in more than $1 billion in sales in a matter of weeks, even before it was later released to newer platforms and before Grand Theft Auto Online even existed. By comparison, Grand Theft Auto IV was released only four years earlier. The only reason you can’t be sure that Rockstar is developing a new GTA game is if you don’t even know what the series is.

In addition, the Rockstar announced the order Almost certainly in February.

Any burnout is easy to ignore

Grand Theft Auto VJust like in GTA 5 (pictured above), GTA 6 will introduce a world of crime and firearms. So nothing important was burned.

I understand there’s some dread about burning out, I shun it myself for anything that interests me because I think watching the plot unfold in front of my eyes is the best way to enjoy the experience. The people burning things up are bastards, and I understand wanting to see nothing of the GTA 6 storyline.

However, there are no major risks with this leak (unless the leaker intentionally sought to spread the game’s story). What we’ve seen so far is nothing more than offers for an early version of the game, and it’s not something that might suddenly appear in your face on social media platforms. The titles, tweets, and even the plot itself haven’t revealed anything major other than that the game is in development. If you don’t want to see more, you can simply ignore it. The evolution of the diversion beyond that, the story is different. As for now, you don’t have to worry about burning the game.

Do you really care about Rockstar’s marketing schedule?

Sony E3 2015 press conferenceTo be fair, having a director name like Yoko Taro making a new Nier game was huge at the time for some gamers.

The outcry about revealing GTA 6 outside of Rockstar’s plans is really ridiculous, because those plans won’t do you any good. archyde news of games and marketing schedules are there for the benefit of the publishing company, and they are there to control the flow of news and how to obtain the largest marketing value and market shares with the attention of media agencies.

However, it makes sense to be alarmed if the leak contains burnouts of a particular ad at a major event; It’s fun to get excited about the big news (like Sony announcing Final Fantasy 7 Remake or Nier: Automata at E3 2015), but again, having GTA 6 in the works at Rockstar is something we’ve known for a long time. What other project might they currently occupy? The suspense for the “next GTA experience” is nothing but an empty statement.
