Creator of several hits that have topped global charts, Ovy On The Drums recently released Cassette 01, a musical production in collaboration with Puerto Rican singer and composer Myke Towers that highlights his style and creativity.
According to the Colombian producer, this album has innovative urban rhythms and was recorded in Myke Towers’ studio in Puerto Rico.
Ovy On The Drums is in Guatemala because on Wednesday, March 27, it will give a show next to Jhayco at kilometer 100 of Puerto San José, Escuintla, at 6 p.m.
During his stay in the country, the Colombian producer said that Cassette 01 is a testament to the creative chemistry between him and Myke Towers in that he pushes the boundaries of the urban genre.
“Cassette 01 It has a lot of history. As for the concept, we sought to reach other generations and preserve those that have supported me, in the end it was a mixture of ideas and preparing them for the next step, because I plan to publish another album in 2025, but in the meantime, this one emerged concept,” said Ovy On The Drums.
The Colombian producer added that with this project he highlights the importance of music and the strength of other artists. “With Myke Towers we have guest artists, so wait Cassette 02 y Cassette 03. “This is a project that will have more deliveries and each one will include more stories and musical genres,” he added.

Additionally, she recently sang here in Guatemala two nights in a row with a packed stage and that fills me with pride,” Ovy On The Drums added.
The Colombian producer added that he continues making music and that he constantly renews himself. “There is something that characterizes me and that is working with new artists, because I like to connect with the stories and see their evolution,” he said.
The Colombian producer is aware of his international success and appreciates the blessing that his productions are heard. However, he remembers his first steps in his country and the day he transcended borders.
“I am happy to be here in Guatemala and to be able to perform for the second time. That’s really what makes me most excited because the first time I left my country to do a show It was here in Guatemala. “Here was the first country in which I performed for the first time on an international stage,” he confessed.
