Guide to dealing with violence in custody presented – everyday life

Vienna – On Friday, the Ministry of Justice and experts from child and women’s protection presented a guide for family judges on how to deal with violence in custody and contact proceedings. The guideline was developed in an interdisciplinary working group for two years, but is not mandatory. This should then regulate the reform of child custody law in the future, said Justice Minister Alma Zadić (Greens) at a press conference.
