Talking about emotions is entering a world that without a doubt all humans have explored in their daily lives. Some situations arouse happiness, optimism, enthusiasm, nervousness and sadness, the latter is perhaps one of the most difficult to balance, not only because it is exacerbated by negative thoughts, but because it can become an “emotional phenomenon” that has the ability to develop serious mental health problems, giving way to diagnoses such as depression and even anxiety. And it is not bad to explode or react to things that get out of control, the really serious thing is to normalize this feeling by making it part, unconsciously, of the problem. Falling into states of sadness or immense pain is a way to protect oneself from the damage caused by certain behaviors, giving the possibility of closing cycles and moving forward learning from the experience, but does everyone really see this emotion that way? The answer is no, for some it is more complicated to develop that capacity for resilience and acceptance in the face of the eventualities that the relationship with their peers brings.
