It was obvious qu’Arc System Works would take advantage of EVO 2022 to unveil the future of Guilty Gear -Strive- who just celebrated his first birthday et its first million salesbut fans had no idea they were going to see a familiar face that is already playable from today: Bridget.
Don’t misunderstand it: Bridget is a boy, and its whole background revolves precisely around this fact. While we imagine the character well in the era of time, it is nevertheless a veteran of the license who signs his return from Guilty Gear XX.
And you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on it, since Bridget is included in le second Season Pass of Guilty Gear -Strive– which starts from today.
Despite an unorthodox fighting technique, Bridget is a fighter rather complete who is able to react short and medium rangebut which nevertheless reserves some techniques well Guilty Gearesque up its sleeve. Depending on the buttons used, the yo-yo allows you to land treacherous attacks, which will undoubtedly be useful for exercising some pressure on the opponent’s defense or awesome combos with the right circumstances.
With this new start to the season, Arc System Works has unveiled the roadmap that will go until 2023, promising a beta of the crossplay system which should unite PC, PS4 and PS5 gamers at the my-september. A new character should follow during the fall, while it will take wait until 2023 to discover new ones. However, Arc System Works promises a significant balancing patch before the end of the year.
