Guinea: Alpha Condé wants to regain power

President Alpha Condé does not digest the loss of power. During a telephone interview with our colleagues from Mosaïqueguinee, he revealed how he intends to go regarding it with the help of social forces.

“We are in the process of constituting the social forces to drive out these people. We will unite to block the road to these people. For that, we will go with everyone, whether they are our partners or not, that is to say the opponents to our power. For me, it is Guinea that counts. I don’t like to dwell on the past. I am not a revenge either. You have seen that I collaborated with those who fought me when I was an opponent, ”reports our colleagues.

Alpha Condé also revealed that following September 5 Bouya Konaté is the one who would have filed a resignation letter for him to sign but that he immediately tore up.

“When I was with them there, he never wanted to meet me. I only saw the officers when I left Abu Dhabi. I was guarded by them without TV or radio. I had nothing. I was with the soldiers. It was at this time that Bouya Konaté sent me a paper that I must sign to resign. I tore up the paper, and threw it down the toilet. I told the young soldiers who came to see me followingwards that I am worthy and that I will never quit. They know that. It was only when I returned from there that Amara Camara, Mory Condé, Balla Samoura and Sadiba Koulibaly came to see me,” adds our colleagues.
