The Guinea national team has qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament Africa Cup of Nations 2023which is currently being held in Côte d’Ivoire, after defeating its counterpart in Equatorial Guinea, with a score of 1-0, in the match that was held this evening, Sunday, at Alassane Ouattara Stadium, in the round of 16 finals.
Mohamed Bayo scored the winning goal for Guinea in the eighth minute of stoppage time for the match.
The Guinea national team is scheduled to face the winner of the Egyptian national team’s confrontation with its counterpart, the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the quarter-finals, next Friday evening.
