The debate on Guinea’s decision to suspend its participation in the organization for the development of Senegal (OMVS) continues.
The authorities of Conakry, announced on Tuesday July 18, 2023, the suspension of the country’s participation in this sub-regional organization. They cite several reasons that motivated this decision. Thus, through its communication unit, the OMVS, which has obviously opted for appeasement, announces that “appropriate solutions” will be found for the reasons given by Guinea.
“We have learned, with deep regret, of the decision of the High Authorities of the Republic of Guinea to suspend their participation in the OMVS. The Organization will strive, in conjunction with its High Authorities, to find the appropriate solutions to the reasons mentioned”, underlines the press release.
The organization promises to contribute also to work for the achievement of the objectives for which it was created.
