The Iraqi national team won two matches and drew in the (Web) match
Today, Monday, the semi-final matches of the 2023 Gulf Cup football tournament, “Gulf 25”, which will be hosted by the Iraqi city of Basra, will be held.
The Iraqi national team will play against the Qatar national team at 15:15 Al-Quds Al-Sharif time in the Basra International Stadium, and the Bahrain national team will play against the Oman national team at 19:15 in Al-Mina Stadium.
The “Lions of Mesopotamia” team topped the first group standings, drawing 0-0 against Oman, then defeating Saudi Arabia 2-0 and Yemen 5-0.
As for the Qatar national team, it finished second in the second group standings, by defeating the Kuwait national team 2-0, then losing to the Bahrain national team 1-2 and tying it against the UAE national team 1-1.
For its part, the Bahrain national team topped the second group standings by defeating the Emirates national team 2-1, then the Qatar national team 2-1 as well, and tied against the Kuwait national team 1-1.
As for the Oman national team, it finished second in the first group standings, with a 0-0 draw against Iraq, then its victory over Yemen 3-2 and Saudi Arabia 2-1.
